Endhiran
I went and watched a late night show of Endhiran (Tamil) at Inox, Pune. Since I didnot totally understand most of the dialogues , there was a dialogue of my own passing through my head.
1. I did not get surprised by the overcrowded Tamil crowd in and around the place. What did surprise me was that 80% of them were yapping in some hybrid english+tamil+hindi+gestures language, which got on my nerves.
2. The casting animation is excellent. So is the computer generated graphics in the rest of the movie. Absolutely brilliant.
3. One of the few movies in current times , where the entry of the star (super in this case) is not a slow motion 2 frames per second mini shot or where body parts of the hero are shown in glimpses before revealing the full body like some - Guess the character mini game.
3. Rajnikanth's dressing always makes me wonder how he survives the melting heat of Chennai in such heavy dressing. Probably one of thalaviar's many super powers which can make him live in chennai in a leather jacket on a full sweat shirt on a turtle neck polo tee and crotch clamping jeans and leathers.
4. A remote control for ON / OFF button should have settled matters long time back.
5. The "Bad" chip is always the "RED" chip.
6. The good guy is always "fairer" than the bad guy.
7. Chitti talks about zigbee technology to transmit voice to Sana. "ZIGBEE" technology - dedicated to GV, Anandaraj, Barath, Vijayraj and the godfather of technology Mr.ASS.
8. The DNA of the movie is based on a short story by Satyajit Ray named "Robu". I do not know if a translated version is available. I have read it 14 years back, the thought brought back good old memories of childhood.
9. Interestingly, not one metal part in the Bus was affected by the super strong electromagnet holding 'Chitti' to the plate in the ending scenes.
10. Chitti should have had a mustache.
11. The Aztec/Inca cityscape is mind blowing. But Mt.Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania not Peru.
12. Car batteries for charging was a smart move.
13. All said and done , Superstar Rajni has owned us again. Rampage!!
